Bluegum for the Win!
We’re very proud to announce for the second year running Bluegum has been awarded Winner of Excellence in Customer Service. We’re so grateful to you for choosing us for your electrical needs and for those of you who have taken the time to tell others about us or shared your experience online. We couldn’t have done it without you!
As you may know Bluegum provides electrical services across north-west Melbourne, serving a few council areas. However our office is physically based in Gisborne, making us eligible for the Macedon Ranges Business Excellence Awards.
These annual awards recognize business’s which provide outstanding service to the shire and beyond, who are of great value to the community, providing local jobs, services and supplies.
We were honored to be nominated by our clients along side hundreds of other local business’s back in June. We were then required to prepare a 7 page submission, answering a range of questions about Bluegum’s customer service, sustainability, marketing and other business activities.
Although a challenging process, it was also a great opportunity to reflect on how far Bluegum has come and the big future ahead. Submissions are then reviewed by independent judges. After short listed business had received a site visit, three finalists were announced.
On September 14 our team attended the Gala Dinner where the winners were announced, Bluegum was awarded winner of Excellence in Customer Service and our very own Co-founder and General Manager Chantel, was also awarded Young Business Person of the year.

Chantel brings her professional qualifications, entrepreneurial edge and passion for customer service together in her role as General Manager of Bluegum Electrical Solutions. Chantel is our go-to for all things to with the Solar Rebates and is a pro at dealing with PowerCor & Jemena. She is challenging the stereotypes in the trade industry and surprising their customers with quality and kindness.
Along the way, Chantel has bagged multiple Excellence in Customer Service Awards on behalf of Bluegum and is the proud recipient of the 2016 Young Business Person of the Year.
Whether she is on the netball court, at the gym or out bushwalking, Chantel is always thinking about the next innovative step for Bluegum and how they can continue to raise the bar and exceed their customer’s expectations.
