Great service from this company. I have had 5 different electricians come through my new home build . One was builders electrical company, the other was extra electrical work I wanted done few power points and install 4 ceiling fans. These guys were able to fix new fans installed that were noisy where the other two electricians could not. On the 3rd attempt to these guys were able to pin the problem and fix the problem. My fuse box blew up at about 12am, I called these guys up and they had an electrician on the phone to me right away, after sending him some photos he could confirm the box was safe for the night, He booked into to arrive at 9am, he was a bit early but I was more than happy for that. Since moving to the Macedon Ranges I've struggled to find a reliable electrician, however last week I hit the jackpot! I remembered that last year, Bluegum Electrical had received an award from the Gisborne & District Community Bank Branch so I decided to give them a go. Within minutes of emailing Bluegum, I received a warm phone call from Chantel who arranged for Head Electrician Josh to visit my home the following day to provide a quote. Not only did I receive an email confirmation of my appointment but on the day of my appointment, Josh called to let me know he was 15 minutes away. An on the spot quote was also an unexpected but very welcome surprise! On the day the works were carried out, Josh and his team arrived right on time and despite me not being at home, he was prepared to have regular phone conversations while the works was carried out to ensure I was happy. We were very happy with their service. We had 5 individual Air conditioners fitted by Bluegum because with the flat roof it would have been impossible to install a ducted system . Another company we called on to give us a quote said they couldn't install any sort of Air conditioners at all!

I had some work done in last week and I am very happy with the whole experience - Reception is fantastic, asked to the point questions and sort out the query in timely manner - as promised by reception i got an email to confirm our appointment - day before actual appointment i get a text message to confirm - on the day of the appointment, you get a call from technician to let you know that he will be coming - technician arrived stop on time to inspect and give initial quote - quote was nicely printed on company's branded letter head with each item clearly defined and quoted - once agreed to go ahead same process followed ( email to confirm appointment, text message on day before and call on the day before coming to you property) I am absolutely impressed with professionalism and quality of work. We have a very old home in the Kyneton and found Josh and Chantel Gilbert through the Truelocal website. Chantel confirm the appointment and Josh called us 15 min prior to his arrival, which was dead on time (as Im a professional Airline captain I appreciated his punctuality). Josh assessed the work and printed out a hard copy quote there and then (from his very well equipped Van), we confirmed the quote and work dated; Josh arrived again on time and worked all day from 7am till 5pm with not one break he is a very hard working and a polite young man who respected our home. His workmanship was second to non plus he cleaned up after he was finished. Having had bad experiences with electricians, such as bad workmanship or simply not turning up, i called Bluegum Electrical Solutions to supply and connect up some LED strip lighting (almost 25 metres) outside to illuminate my patio. The technician turned up on time and quoted immediately a total fixed price for the job which was great and a first time with an electrician for me. The Tech even managed to hide all of the wires in the wall instead of running conduit that other electricians claimed was the only way to run the cables. I am really impressed with this companies service and the way they left the site completely clean( another first for me) I am so impressed with the service that i would recommend anyone to get a quote from them. Great service from the initial phone call to completing the job. I called to organise a quote and an appointment was available the very next day. Arrived spot on time and the quote was within the price I had in mind so the electrician completed the job on the spot. He cleaned up after himself and provided advice on checking the safety switch circuit breaker every 6 months. The certificate of electrical safety was sent (via email) within an hour. Keep up the great work Bluegum, you've set the bar high for service and standards.

My wife and I moved into a new place and we had some issues with the wiring that we needed to get fixed. I've had bad experiences with electricians in the past but Bluegum exceeded my expectations. Their electrician was on-time and was able to fix the issues with our wiring in just a few minutes - he also installed a new TV antenna point and even fixed the exhaust fan in our toilet. And then after fixing all our problems he used a portable vacuum to clean up after himself so we didn't have to. I can't recommend Bluegum enough and will be using them for any other electrical work I have in the future.

Bluegum Electrical were well priced, I used them to put in new light switches, the electrician arrived on time and was friendly and patient, even when I changed my mind about the location of the switches many times. He also brought his own cleaning equipment and cleaned up thoroughly. I would highly recommend them, the quality of the work and the service was excellant.
